VISION  

To maintain a healthy community, free of vaccine preventable diseases, in the Inland Empire.

 MISSION

Inland Empire Immunization Coalition is committed to promoting health & preventing the incidence of vaccine preventable diseases through community partnerships, education & outreach.

 

PRIORITIES

¨ Improve immunization coverage rates and access to immunization services for all residents in the Inland Empire.

¨ Improve knowledge, attitudes and practices of immunization providers to reduce missed opportunities.

¨
 Increase awareness about the importance of childhood, adolescent and adult immunizations.

¨ Expand and sustain membership of coalition. 


STRUCTURE

IEIC is composed of representatives from the community and organizations who are committed to IEIC’s mission.  Members meet quarterly to learn about the latest immunization information and recommendations, share information on best practices, network with others who work to improve immunization coverage rates, and participate on various committees to develop and implement strategies designed to improve immunization coverage rates.
 


COMMITTEES


Inland Empire Immunization Coalition activities are organized by three committees.  Coalition members serve on committees, where age-specific immunization ideas and strategies are discussed and implemented.  Committee activities include advocacy, education and raising awareness. 

The committees are:
